Meteor Crater Adams/Friendship, WI
This is in Adams county Wisconsin, USA, gps# N43 58.960 W89 49.011
Just on the north end of the alleged crater is Roche a Cri State Park
Make sure you scroll down to see everythng

Above, it's a bit difficult to make out due to the vegetation
The above black and white from an earlier Google shot, it's a bit easier to make
out.
In the above photo the possible crater perimeter and possible direction of travel are marked out.
This may have created the impact ejecta or large hills on the right, when the meteor pushed the land on impact.
The below photo is identical to the above, with/out the markings, for comparison.

I suggest you Google Earth it yourself.
If you right click if right handed or left click if left handed or either if ambidextrous, you can save the above pictures and view them in your photo software.
As for the river/streams flowing through some of the rim area, this is normal for a creator created before the last ice age. The weight and movement of a glacier can erode the softer impact created rim &/or parts of the rim and leave a depression. See this link: http://www.solarviews.com/eng/tercrate.htm Read the "Manicouagan, Quebec, Canada one toward the lower part of the site page. Pretty much the same thing I'm saying but they use geologist talk.
This entire area could financially benefit from this if I'm correct. I'm going to do my best to have it looked into but so far, I haven't had success at this. If what I think I see, is a meteor crater, this entire area is missing out on a huge potential. It could attract a great deal of people/tourists for many years to come, increasing job growth and the per capita income substantially for the area, if marketed properly. We could bring in tourists from the Dells area, as well as become a draw that aids the Dells area. Casinos in the area would also benefit. Good chance we'd bring in tourist from surrounding States to see, stand on and experience this in person.
I see two Three choices here:
1: Ignore it. “This is real easy” and being done right now as you
read this but no possible benefit to anyone.
2a:
It’s proven and verified to actually be a meteor Crater and then
the area with supreme confidence can enjoy the benefits for the duration of
human kind.
2b: I’m proven incorrect and life goes on as it did but everyone had
a little excitement. And I’ll be known for awhile as the guy that was
totally wrong about thinking this could be a Meteor Crater. “I can live
w/that” It’ll be a cute story for me, friends, family and total
strangers for awhile.
3: Do a Ripley’s thing and pitch it as if it is, “proven or not”. Market it like it is a Meteor Crater and enjoy the benefits til proven it is or isn’t, if anyone even attempts to prove or disprove it. We already have a walk up the edge of the “alleged” Meteor Crater Ejecta (Earth pushed up from impact), just need some signs “with graphics and words”. I may even help pay for them!
Wouldn’t it be neat if it was verified as a Meteor Crater, not only would
this area benefit from just knowing that, it be even more interesting if the
Meteor brought in Diamonds or Gold or Platinum or some other valuable material
and it’s just been sitting there all this time just below the surface.
I wonder if the current land owners will break out a metal detector after hearing
of this possibility.

Thank you for your inquiry. There are many circular features on the surface of the Earth. Some are formed by meteorite impact, many are not. For example circular features may be formed by the collapse of a volcanic magma chamber forming what is known as a caldera. These circular features may be mistaken for impact craters. As well, other circular features formed as the result of glacial action or salt diapirs may also be mistaken for impact craters.
In order to determine whether or not a circular feature was created by a meteorite,
an in depth scientific investigation must take place.
Certain geological features must be identified in order to confirm an impact
origin. These include the presence of shatter cones and other diagnostic shock
effects in minerals such as planar deformation features in quartz. Ideally,
the proposed impact site should be visited by scientists and samples taken
for analysis.
Due to the large number of circular features on Earth, and the remote nature
of many of them, it is logistically impossible to investigate each one. When
an impact structure has been confirmed we will add it to our Earth Impact Database.
Thank you for drawing our attention to this feature. We will add the coordinates
of this structure to our list of circular structures so that if any of our
scientists are ever close by we can investigate this potential impact site.
